Raising another human being isn’t for the timid. From lack of sleep, worrying over things big and small, temper tantrums, crying, illness…the list just goes on and on…it can feel like you have to go to back to school to learn how to parent. Feeling like you aren’t doing a good job as a mom or dad can also wear on you if you can’t get past a particular difficulty, like getting your child to fall asleep at night. That’s parenting struggles, baby.
On top of that, some children are harder to figure out. Like with my son, John, he was easy to potty train as a 2 1/2 year old, but would cry for long stretches as a baby, so we obviously focused more of our time trying to calm him. Each child is so different! But never fear, Sunrise Montessori is here! 😉
I have written a few blogs over the past year that tackled many common issues and we’ve had parents asking about these areas lately, so I thought it would be a good idea to repost the links to those blogs. Each blog post has sources listed at the bottom you can click on to learn more. If you don’t see a topic you’d like to learn about, please email us! I want to address what you would like to learn more about.
I hope these sources help you and your child with your parenting struggles and to experience a smoother path of development and deepen your bond as a family. 🙂
