I was going to write this week’s blog on how I’m seeing others around me Pay It Forward with acts of kindness. Waving to others on walks around the ‘hood. The families at Sunrise who have sent cookies or bought lunch for our team. The positive quotes I see our Admin leave to boost our Teachers’ spirits and remind them that these times, too, shall pass.
Here are the links I had all prepared about why you should practice Paying It Forward, the ripple effect it has on others, and ideas on what you can do.

And those articles are great. But what I really need right now, and I have a feeling some of you out there are feeling the same, is to laugh. To smile.
To smirk, snort, chuckle. I want to take a drink of water and barely suppress the urge to spit or snarf it out as my brain registers something hilarious! Like those who celebrate this holiest of Christian holidays, I, too, am thankful for resurrection, the one that’s about to happen, I mean. I am thankful for what will be a joyous event: the future resurrection of our pre-Coronavirus lives. Because we need friends, we need some time to not be parents/workers/insert title here but just ourselves, and some of us need a meal we don’t have to cook or clean up, preferably at a restaurant that offers adult beverages. 😉
So the rest of this blog is going to be a plethora of memes I found that I think are funny. My act of Paying It Forward today! Enjoy!
