COVID-19 Safety and Benefits of Montessori versus Keeping Kids at Home
Many parents never expected to find themselves in a position to watch or homeschool their kids throughout the day. Even more so, many parents don’t have the time or skills to help prepare their kids for future educational goals and life skills. But, faced with concern for their family’s health, parents don’t know what to do.
Parents are deciding to send their kids to Sunrise Montessori.

“It’s been really great for our family and for our child to bring them back to Sunrise Montessori.”
Safety and Communication
Studies have shown that daycares and pre-schools that take the CDC-recommended health and safety measures are not at high risk for breakouts. At Sunrise Montessori, we take all possible safety measures and stay in constant communication with families.
Families can have peace of mind without having to sacrifice their child’s developmental growth.
Parents love the Montessori education style because it teaches children to:
- Care genuinely about other people and the world
- Discover unique and individual ways to contribute
- Learn new things through self-exploration
- Acquire academic and life skills
- Become functioning members of the household at any age
At Sunrise Montessori, we believe a positive, nurturing environment is necessary for education to flourish. Our staff cares about the safety, well-being, and developmental growth of our students.
COVID Safety Precautions
Sunrise Montessori enforces strict safety guidelines to help stop and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Bring any health concerns to our attention immediately.

What our parents are saying about Sunrise Montessori:
“The biggest thing that gave us confidence in coming back to Sunrise was the level of communication that we received from administrators. Sunrise has been above and beyond in terms of how much they’re letting us know so that we can feel like we have a partner that’s helping us feel safe at school.”
